We were first chartered in 1958 by the South Country Elementary School PTA. In 1965 we were chartered by St. Luke's church and in 1971 we were chartered by St. Peter's church in Bayshore, New York where we are now.

Our troop is a rough-it kind of camping group. We prefer to sleep in tents and cook on an open fire, as opposed to a shelter and propane stoves. We enjoy long hiking weekends and new adventures.

We began this web site in 2000. So stop back often to watch our site grow as the troop grows in the 21st Century.
